The Boeing 777 was evacuated on landing after Canadian authorities recieved a tip-off from a woman in Canada that a passenger was carrying explosives.
The flight was enrout for Calgery via Toronto, Canada bound for Karachi Pakistan, is believed to be Pakistan International Airlines flight PK782
The aircraft is said to have been granted permission to land at Arlandra airport and park at the end of the landing strip, away fro the terminals.
Several police cars were parked near the plane and a larger group of police vehicles and fire engines were parked further away.
Armed policemen were seen taking up position near the plane, although fog made it difficult to see clearly what was happening.
A search of the aircraft was in progress and a man has been deatined, no explosives were found on the man, his baggage is being searched.
